For our Hospitality studio we were given the opportunity to redesign the infamous W Hotel located in Union Square, New York City. Throughout the semester we had the privilege of working and receiving advice from the VP of Global Design for Marriott International as well as their Senior Director. Our goal was to create a sophisticated and fresh design for the W brand. The scope of the project included the lobby, bar/lounge areas, along with a king suite and king standard room.

The aim for my redesign was to create a mature yet playful hotel atmosphere for young professionals to enjoy from all around the world. By doing this I implemented bright colors such as reds, pinks, and oranges in order for guests to be energized and used a mix of eclectic materials and furniture to keep the spaces timeless and lively. For this project I worked in Sketchup and Enscape.
